133D Heider Family Stables Gallinule Stakes

G.M. Ryan, rider of South Island, trained by Donnacha Aidan O'Brien, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount hung right in the home straight.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Drop Dead Gorgeous, trained by A.P.O'Brien, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

133E Tattersalls Irish 2,000 Guineas

J.A. Heffernan, rider of Thesecretadversary, trained by J.A.Stack, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount had no luck in running.

The Raceday Stewards interviewed J.P. Spencer, rider of Pacific Avenue, concerning his use of the whip in the closing stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned. In his evidence J.P. Spencer stated that he recently adjusted his whip action and felt he was not in breach of the regulation. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Raceday Stewards took no further action.

133F Weatherbys Ireland Greenlands Stakes

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Spycatcher, trained by K.R.Burke (in GB), at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be lame on his right hind post race.

S.H. James, rider of Spycatcher, trained by K.R.Burke (in GB), reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount slipped leaving the stalls and felt lame on returning to trot post race.

The Raceday Stewards interviewed S.H. James, rider of Spycatcher, trained by K.R.Burke (in GB), concerning the fact that after slipping when leaving the stalls his mount appeared to move poorly and returned lame post race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned who stated that his mount is a poor mover and after slipping when the stalls opened he felt that after half a furlong his mount felt fine and allowed him to coast home as his chance was gone in a sprint race. Having viewed the recording and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards accepted the explanation given and took no further action.

133H Irish Stallion Farms EBF Habitat H'cap

C.T. Keane, rider of Unique Journey, trained by Daniel James Murphy, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount was tight for room.

R.P. Whelan, rider of City House, trained by Adrian McGuinness, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount did not get a clear run.

R.P. Cleary, rider of Fort Vega (FR), trained by Ms. Sheila Lavery, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount was aggressive in the stalls.

Adam Caffrey, rider of Go Athletico (FR), trained by Adrian McGuinness, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount got no luck in running.

The Raceday Stewards enquired into an incident inside the final furlong involving The Highway Rat, ridden by S. Coen, Unique Journey, ridden by C.T. Keane, Gerrit's Gem, ridden by T. Casey, Go Athletico (FR), ridden by Adam Caffrey, and Genesis, ridden by W. Joyce where it appeared several runners got tight for room. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. C.T. Keane stated that it got tight for room from both sides. Adam Caffrey stated that he got no luck in running behind the congestion. W. Joyce stated that he got pressure from both sides. S. Coen stated that it got very tight for room. T. Casey stated that his mount got slightly unbalanced under pressure. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards did not apportion blame to any rider and took no further action.

S. Foley, rider of Indigo Dream (GB), trained by Ross O'Sullivan, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount was denied a clear run.

C. Cusack, rider of Barbapapa, trained by Henry de Bromhead, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that he had to take a slight check a furlong out.

K.G. Kennedy, rider of Sarahmae, trained by Denis Gerard Hogan, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount was restless in the stalls.

W. Joyce, rider of Genesis, trained by Michael Mulvany, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount got tight for room a furlong out.

The Raceday Stewards fined Daniel James Murphy, trainer €65 for fitting Blinkers instead of the declared Visor to Erosandpsyche and ordered their removal and the correct headgear to be fitted.

133J O'Driscolls Irish Whiskey Irish EBF M'dn

J.A. Heffernan, rider of Vanir, trained by J.P. Murtagh, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount was keen during the race.
